Sisters

Brooklee is making out what seems to be a really good big sister. There for the first couple of days she didn't want a whole lot to do with her. Now, she gets mad if we leave Brinley at my moms house while we run an errand. Amazing what a little bit of time does. Since we have had Brinley it seems as though Brooklee has grown. I never really paid attention to her hands and feet like I do now. They have gotten so much bigger. She is turning into a big helper for Nic and I. She kissses her sister every chance I get. I hope they continue to stay close.

The smile says it all!

Truly blessed

I have never mentioned on this blog how grateful I am for this man. He truly is an amazing Dad. I was unable to feed or change Brinley for the first couple days of her life and he stepped right in and took care of EVERYTHING!! He was such a trooper!!! When my mom and dad would bring Brooklee to the hospital to visit us, he would take her on "daddy daughter dates." Our two beautiful girls are definetly lucky to have him as their dad and I am so lucky to have him as my husband and best friend. I love you Nic!!

Two Proud Grandpa's

Thank you Dad K. and Dad F. for coming to the hospital to visit us. We love you!!

Two Proud Grandma's

(Thank you Mom K., Mom F., and Aunt Jane for coming to visit Brinley in the hospital when she first arrived. We love you!)

Brinley Jane Finch 7 lbs 7 oz 20 inches long arrived on July 20, 2009 at 8:00 am

We are so happy that she has arrived and is in perfect health. She is such a splitting image of her big sister. Its like having a twin 4 years later. I checked into the hospital the morning of the 20th and was FINALLY released to go home the following Thursday. I had some complications which forced me to stay an extra day. Life has been a little challenging balancing Brooklee and Brinley but we are surviving. We are so blessed to have this special little spirit in our home. She is such a sweet baby. Hardly know she is even here most of the time!

Countdown Begins

Went to the Dr. yesterday for my weekly check up and the kind nice man that he is said he would allow me to go in TWO days earlier than what was originally planned. So, the big arrival of Miss Brinley will be on July 20th. Didn't change my surgery time. I still have to be there at 5:30 am. I'm sure to most of you two days really isn't that big of a deal.....HOWEVER, you don't have this little girl running out of real estate in your tummy either! I am so blessed for the Dr. I have. Would totally recommend Dr. Patrick Connelly (Show Low) to any one of you girls. So, 18 more days to go. We will be sure to post when she gets here.
